The MCDi system is an engine fuel delivery modification that brings the listed benefits to the host engine, either engines that XRDi has already developed, or your existing 2-stroke. XRDi has successfully used the MCDI system on a range of small engines, for current examples see Engine Family and also History.

The Mechanically Compressed Direct Injection Fuel System (MCDi) - XRDi developed and patented - is a breakthrough in small engine design, fuel usage and efficiency.
A small compressor assembly attached to the cylinder head, driven by a timing belt from the engine crankshaft, delivers a highly stratified charge to the main combustion chamber via a fuel/air delivery valve known as a poppet valve.
